Winter Solider, Samurai, and Spiders
Welcome again, everyone! Sorry I got so behind schedule with blog writing! I've been really busy with other things. So anyway, let's get to the good stuff. At the end of July, The Wolverine will be released into theatres. Even though I'm not the biggest Wolverine or X-men fan, I'am pretty excited for this movie. I don't have any new pictures from the movie today but I'll find some soon, so don't worry! And don't forget to stay after the credits of The Wolverine, there might be something from the next X-men movie. Who knows? Now in 2014 Captain America: The Winter Solider will be released. I have got some pictures here of the Winter Solider on set.
Here we have him shooting down from a ledge. There seems to be someone behind him doing the same thing.
Here, we have a good face-shot of him and closer look at his arm.
And on the same set was the Captain himself, Black Widow, and Nick Fury. Course, I only got a photo of Director Fury getting ready for shooting I believe.
I don't got any plot details on this movie except Cap's best friend: Bucky, is still alive but has been brain-washed by Hydra. The movie, I think, might even have Arnim Zola in it, since we never saw him die like the Red Skull. But he may not appear as we have seen him in the first movie. If he is in it, I expect him to look more like the classic Zola we've seen in comics before.
Though, they would have to explain why he survived for so long. Another thought I had was that Black Widow will be in this movie but what about Hawkeye? Although Hawkeye's not one of my TOP favourites he is a favourite of mine. I mean, he has to appear in some movie before Avengers 2, right? It might be possible he'll appear in Thor 2 since he did appear in the first Thor. We'll see. Oh, and by the way! Before I get onto Spider-man 2, it is confirmed that Robert Downey Jr. WILL return as Iron Man for Avengers 2 and 3. It was announced a couple days ago on Marvel.com. I don't know about you guys but I for one am very relieved. I mean, if they had someone replace RDJ, who'd go watch it? Well... I would still go but I would not enjoy it. So now, let's go onto the Amazing Spider-man 2
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be released April 18, 2014. First off I want to show you guys Spidey's new costume.
I have to honestly say, I did not notice a difference at first glance. But then I noticed the lens were different. This new one also seem a bit more "simpler." Here's a good look at both suits from the first Spider-man and the second one.
I think it looks cool but why? I mean, why did Spidey need a new suit? Was the old one so torn up he couldn't patch it up? Well, it's not that important to get into detail. So we know Spidey's in it and so is Gwen Stacey. And Mary Jane Watson will also be appearing in this sequel. I do not know yet who is playing as MJ but hopefully we'll find out soon. I'am hoping that J. Jonah Jameson will be in it. I just think he's a great character and added a lot of humour to the older Spider-man movies. Overall, I think this is going to be a great movie. I can't wait for all these awesome Marvel movies coming in 2014. I'll be posting again next Saturday. I think I'll write about Thor 2 and LEGO Marvel Super-heroes. So I'll see you then! And before I go, I found some Loki pics on Marvel.com. They're shots with Tom Hiddleston (Loki) with a Loki action figure. I think these photos are possibly off of the set of Thor 2 because I've noticed Loki's hair is longer than Avengers. (So he probably didn't cut his hair after he got out of prison) Here they are anyway, see ya next time!
