Hi, again. I had to change the look to the blog because of some technical difficulties. I really wanted to use the dynamic template but there is something going wrong with Blogspot and it's messing up the template. If you have any questions, here is the link to the Blog's Google + page: https://plus.google.com/u/0/b/107329883704236157197/107329883704236157197/posts. And if your following the blog please follow the blog's Google page as well so you can be updated with things like this. Sorry again! This was a big mess and I apologize!

MUFB Episode 11

Movie, TV, and Video Game Highlights

Some big news this week for all Marvel fans. New photos have been released for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes and some new posters for Thor: The Dark World. I have A LOT to cover today. I'll be uploading new TV spots for Thor: The Dark World onto the Thor: The Dark World page above. But I've also got something other than Thor to show you. Many may have already seen it, but recently the Age of Ultron teaser leaked onto the web.
Although, if you've seen it you know that there isn't really anything in this that helps us figure out the plot in anyway. It shows Iron Man's helmet turning into Ultron, which could hint Tony Stark could be a part of the making of Ultron. And I'm really liking the Ultron design. Of course it won't look like one of the more advanced Ultron bodies since this is early on in his origin. There sin't really anything else out of this teaser that could hint anything else in the movie. Although when you can see the reflection of the Avengers in Ultron's eye I could see every Avenger except Hawkeye. I really hope the DOESN'T hint that we could see a Hawkeye death in the film. Not that I didn't like the first Avengers, it's just that for most of the whole movie Hawkeye was being mind-controlled by Loki. And it's not that I have anything against female super heroes but hasn't Black Widow gotten a lot of of the spotlight? She's been in Iron Man 2, played a big part in Avengers, and now she's in The Winter solider. I think Hawkeye's a big part in the Avengers and doesn't need to be put aside like that. But if Joss Whedon has a plan with Clint or plays a even bigger part in Age of Ultron, then I won't argue. But if not... then I'm gonna be one unhappy Hawkeye fan.

Other than that we got some other exciting news. We have got some new details on LEGO Marvel Superheroes. A new character that has been confirmed is Rocket Raccoon. And with that I can presume that the rest of the Guardians of The Galaxy will be in the game. Groot will probably look similair to Treebeard from LEGO Lord of the Rings if he is in it. So here are some recent images of some new vehicles.
                                                                                                                Besides his glider, Green
Goblin also has his own helicopter. Which apparently is being called the Pumpkin Chopper. And behind him is, which I believe, is Oscorp tower. Also there will possibly be the Daily Bugle tower since J. Jonah Jameson has also been added to the game.

Magneto also get's his own vehicle in the
game: The Magneto Mobile. And next to him is Loki with his tesseract-powered spear.
Spidey's Spidey Copter

And, my personal favorite: Deadpool's Scooter. And there's our first look at  Rocket Raccoon. I'm very excited to play as Deadpool. Who wouldn't be?

LEGO Marvel Superheroes launches on the 22nd of October. Even though it's only a couple weeks away, it can feel like forever for some people. (Mainly me) The game will be available for all consoles. And will possibly be 1-2 players, unlike the previous Lego game, LEGO City.

Other than that, I'd like to remind you all that there will be a Ultimate Spider-man Halloween Special tomorrow on Disney XD. No offence but personally I'm not that excited for it. I think the whole Spidey and SHIELD thing just doesn't work out. And then you add in Nova, White Tiger, Iron Fist, and Power Man. They could of just kept them out of the show and focus on Spidey. Just my opinion, I don't to make any of you Ultimate Spider-man fans upset.

Well, anyway, two new Thor: The Dark World posters were released recently. The posters feature two out of the Warriors Three: Fandral and Volstagg
This is also our first look at the new Fandral actor: Zachary Levi. Perhaps since Fandral and Volstagg (and perhaps Hogan later on) are getting their own posters, they might get some big roles in the film. And since the movie seems to stay stay more in other realms besides Midgard, Thor could possibly need more help from the Warriors Three.
Now, we'll just have to see if Hogan gets his own poster. It's most likely he will though. Other than that, Marvel has recently released a clip of Thor The Dark World.
One thing that I've noticed in this clip, is that Loki's cell is a mess and there is some scratches on the wall. It might look like this because in the second Thor TDW trailer Loki used his powers to push the chairs and table away from him as they hit the walls. Something that bugs me is that in this clip Loki's wearing  a very light grey t-shirt. Oh, wait Asgardians don't wear t-shirts and it isn't even a t-shirt. Uh, well, we can call it his "casual wear." Anyway he's wearing his "casual wear" in this clip, but in the second trailer he's wearing something similar to what he wore in The Avengers. His hair also looks a lot more MESSY in this clip and the first trailer. So I'm wondering when he had time to change. Or when exactly what he was wearing first. Also, I know this probably not a possibility, but Loki, seriously, get a hair cut. The Thor-style doesn't look good on you. I'm not going to be able to take you seriously when I go watch the movie!

Well, anyways. I would just like to remind you all that there will be a new Agents of SHIELD tomorrow  I will be starting reviews for each episode starting after this next one. Another quick announcement, New York Comic-con will be starting on the 10th of October! Just a few days away! Unfortunately  I won't be making it this year, but I hope all of you that are going have an awesome time! I'll be following Marvel's NYCC blog and I'll be giving you all updates from NYCC 2013 after it ends. Well, that's it for now. I will be posting a new page for Agents Of SHIELD after the first review. Thanks for reading!

MUFB Episode 10

Welcome to Level 7
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D

Welcome to another episode of Marvel Universe Fan Blog. Today we're counting down to the season premier of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. We're also going to take a look at a recent promo for the series which features episodes 2 and 3. And a look at some recent posters from Thor: The Dark World.

So, tomorrow is the season premier of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but recently, a promo for the series was released. The promo features some scenes from episodes 2 and 3. There were some things that caught my eye in the promo.

At first I didn't see anything important in this scene, but I looked closely and the objects on the left look like human skulls. Then I noticed the words on the top right. The word are backwards, but I figured out the spell SOIL ANALYSIS. I don't know if they found some soil evidence or if the digging something out.

These guys were probably the most interesting of anything in the promo. In the scene there are a total of five the mysterious mask-wearing men. (Why isn't The Mysterious Mask-wearing Men a band name already?) The people in the background don't seem to be bothered by them. I can't exactly tell where they are. Well, obviously they're not Hydra or A.I.M., but they seem to be part of some organization.

This scene shows Skye and one of those little robots Fitz and Simmons were using in a crime scene. The object on the left seems to be holding something blue in the tubes. I don't know bout' you, but it reminds me a lot of the Tesseract.
From the promo, it also seems that Skye will be helping out Coulson's team in some way. Skye never really seemed like a villain anyway. I could be wrong, though.

More details on how Agent Coulson is still alive will hopefully be revealed in the first episode or later on in the season. I also want to know if it was part of Coulson's plan to take on Loki alone and "die" so the Avengers would actually have someone to avenge... Anyway, Marvel will be doing a little featurette before each new episode. If you want to watch the first featurette go here. So now I wanted to show you guys all the latest Thor: The Dark World posters.

And here Jane Foster gets her own poster. I'm assuming she will have a somewhat large role in Thor 2 since she get's her own poster. She may also get captured by Malekith in the film. That's my guess however.

On this poster, Loki has broken out of his prison cell in Asgard. Perhaps, with the help of Thor since he needed Loki's help. But if Thor used his hammer (Sorry, I can't spell the proper name for it) I would think it'd break the entire glass wall. I also wonder why Loki got to wear the same outfit he wore inthe Avengers. I guess Asgardian prisons don't let you wear more than one outfit. (Not to mention they might not also lend prisoners a pair of scissors to cut their hair.)

This one is probably one of my favorites. Although I'am still not sure if I "like" the masks. Malekith is one
of my favorite villains however.

This one, we have Odin and his ravens. Although, his spear reminds me of a trident. You know, like a "King of Atlantis" trident. But I really like this poster as well. And it's quite fitting to have Asgard in the background.

Well, that is all for now but I'll be back tomorrow when Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D airs. I will also do a reveiw for the first episode. So if you'd excuse me, I'm going to watch Iron Man 3,

MUFB Episode 9

Catching Up On Latest News
Hey! Sorry it's been so long! I got a BUNCH of stuff today so let's get started.

So Comic-con was awesome. But we got some awesome news for Thor 2, Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Iron Man 3 Blu-ray and DVD release, and some news from D23 Expo. I didn't get around to doing my Wolverine review so I'll try to do that this weekend. So let's start with Thor 2.

Volstagg played by Ray Stevenson

"I like her." -Loki
Above is the newest Thor: The Dark World trailer. We got to see Heimdall, who used to watch over the rainbow bridge. But since it's broken I guess he's having a vacation break. Also I was very excited to see Volstagg. But we don't get to see his companions, Fandral and Hogan. (Kinda disappointing) And of course Sif is in the film and I'm hoping she, and the Warriors Three, get to see more action in this film. But they, of course, don't trust Loki. And probably the most memorable part of the trailer is Jane Foster slapping Loki. Oh yeah, that was really smart of you, Jane. Just because Thor is around to protect you, doesn't mean you can go around slapping villains.
One reason I'm most excited for in this movie is that I'am really happy that Thor's going to be going to several other realms besides Midgard. (Earth) The first Thor was good but most of the movie was is Midgard and Asgard. This movie feels like more of an adventure this time. Hopefully this turns out to be a great film. And so far this trailer is proving that it possibly will be a great movie.

I'll be adding a new page to this blog which I will keep up-to-date with Thor TDW photos and more. Also I'm going to be doing a lot more news on Thor since the film's release is only a couple months away. (Hoping we get more trailers!)

So I wanted to talk about Ben Affleck recently being casted to play the Caped Crusader in Warner Brothers and DC comics' upcoming film: Superman Vs. Batman. Why does this have anything to do with Marvel? Well, if you don't remember Ben Affleck stared as Matt Murdock/Daredevil in the 2003 movie: Daredevil. And are people (mostly DC fans) happy with Ben as the Batman? Uh, no. They're not happy at all. As a Marvel fan, I didn't care much about this decision. But I just wanted to point out this similarity between Ben Affleck and another actor that was a DC character and a Marvel character... Ryan Reynolds.

If history repeats itself, Superman VS Batman won't do good. See, Ryan Reynolds was cast as Deadpool in Wolverine Origins. And we all remember how that ended. Than later on, Ryan was cast as Green Lantern in 2011. That movie didn't do good. So Ben Affleck was in Daredevil (A Marvel film), and he'll be appearing in a DC film... I could be wrong though. But I just wanted to point this out.

Anyway, enough DC! Here's something more exciting, Marvel's got an actor for Ultron
in Avengers 2! (Most of you probably knew that) Unlike the outrage with Ben Affleck, a lot a people are happy with this choice. The Ultron voice that I'am wanting is one similair to the one from the Avengers EMH TV show. Because of Ultron's unique we can all agree Ultron will probably be CGI half the time. So James Spader will be acting, of course, in a recording studio.
Bradley Cooper
Speaking of actors, Marvel has also casted Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon in Guardians Of the Galaxy. I can't exactly tell how everyone feels about this. (Some are either OK with it others are outraged.) I don't like to judge anything film-wise till' I see it for myself. Maybe sometime next year they release a trailer. The one problem that I see about this movie is that, while we Marvel fans will surely go watch it, other people might find talking space Raccoons and a giant tree-like creature a bit, er, strange. Hopefully sci-fi and space fans will go see it. And the fact that Guardians aren't as popular as some other Marvel series, (Avengers, Xmen, Fantastic 4) might be a problem for the film. I'am glad though, that Marvel is not just sticking to one series, like the Avengers. They've been planning to a lot more other films with characters who aren't as popular as someone like Spider-man. I hope many others agree.

Well I've got a few more things before I wrap this up. I'll be changing our Comic-con page above to D23 Expo, which will have videos of this year's Disney Expo. I will also be adding a Thor: The Dark World page and an Iron Man 3 page where you can view photos, trailers, and links. I'll be adding a Winter Solider page as well as an Amazing Spider-man 2 when we get trailers for both.

So that is pretty much all I have today. My review for the Wolverine will be posted by the end of next week. And beginning October, I'll be starting the countdown to Thor: The Dark World. During the October Countdown, I'll be posting news and photos on this blog and the Thor TDW page. Also, just a reminder, Iron Man 3 comes out on Blu-ray Sep. 24. It also comes with the Marvel One-shot: Agent Peggy Carter. And LEGO Marvel Super Heroes comes out in October. (I recommend you pre-order it.) Thanks for reading today! Next episode will be posted sometime after The Wolverine review. Thanks again.
